KIA ORA, WELCOME
Kia ora and welcome to Aotearoa Grown
We are Sara and Andrew, and we love growing tropical fruit, so fresh, juicy and great for your health and well-being. We love growing food that is a positive climate change response, that supports food resilience, and sustainability.
We planted our first bananas in Waipu in 2012, and we've grown more diversity in our orchards with each year. Now, there’s enough to share more widely, and we’re excited to bring Aotearoa Grown papayas, bananas, pineapples, and other delights direct to you.
Here at Aotearoa Grown we grow with nature, and with aroha, to bring you the best, the tastiest, and the freshest fruit. We love what we do – we grow and harvest by hand, with love for our place, and for nature. Our fruits are harvested in season, sun ripened, hand picked and spray free. Everything has the best locally grown taste, freshness and quality, which can only come from being grown here, in Aotearoa.
We are committed to sustainability and we grow in ways which support an integrated and diverse ecology, and look after our earth for future generations. We care for our place, nurturing what we have, reducing our footprint. We generate our own solar power that drives our delivery vehicle and our orchard vehicle. We pick and pack with care, and send directly to you – from our orchards, to your homes and families.
Aotearoa Grown well and good.
